The SARS-CoV-2 Antigen Rapid Test (Colloidal Gold) is a single-use immunochromatographic assay for the rapid qualitative detection of SARS-CoV-2 antigen directly from a nasopharyngeal or nasal swab specimen. Built on a colloidal-gold lateral-flow format, it is designed for point-of-care use and can support fast triage and clinical decision-making outside the central laboratory.

The test requires no instrumentation and no specialised laboratory infrastructure. After the swab specimen is processed in the supplied buffer and applied to the device, the result develops and is read visually in approximately 15 minutes, making it suitable for decentralised and near-patient testing settings.
